Since the firm was founded in 1992, Perry and Radford Architects has focused primarily on working with academic clients to design a wide range of project types found on an educational campus.

Our expertise includes renovation projects, adaptive reuse, interior design, and upgrades for sustainability and code compliance.

Our portfolio illustrates that we have thoughtfully repurposed numerous existing spaces to create vibrant new laboratories, classrooms, office suites, common spaces and academic residences. Our careful renovations of historic buildings have been recognized with multiple preservation awards.

From the start of a project, we get down to the details and manage these throughout the process – to ensure that our client’s objectives are met and that their concerns are attended to. This careful and meticulous process leads to smooth construction projects with few surprises.

An important feature that distinguishes our practice is the extraordinarily high level of principal involvement with each project. Oliver Radford or Steve Perry is intimately involved in every aspect, from the initial meetings through the design and construction phases. In fact, we have deliberately limited the size of our firm in order to maintain the principals’ direct involvement in all projects – large and small.

We are especially proud of the collaborative relationships we have built with our clients. The quality of our design, our approach to projects, and our attention to detail has resulted in a remarkable 96% of our work coming from repeat clients. We believe that this is the best evidence that we achieve our clients’ goals.
